It’s been quiet around here lately, and there are some very legitimate reasons for this. I recently decided to take a leap of faith and do something that had been on my heart for a while. I sold my creations at my first market! I wish I had video evidence to show you how nervous I was that day. I basically looked like a robot and probably scared my first few prospective customers away, but after calming down and giving myself a mini-peptalk the day ended on a very successful note. Long story short, this leap of faith opened doors for me to do more markets. That’s what stepping out in faith does, and I encourage you to do something you’ve been hesitant to try because of fear!
I also took Jenna Kutcher’s Instagram Lab course because I was feeling like my Insta-game was very much lacking and I wanted to find ways to connect more with my followers and engage. Funny thing is, I got waaay more out of the course than I bargained for. For the past few weeks I’ve been trying my hands at being more intentional, honest and purposeful about everything I post, and this has helped me to take stock and grow along the way.
If there’s one thing that I’ve learned from these recent experiences, it’s that I got this. I’ve had to give myself this pep talk many times in the past few weeks and I’ve found it to be true time and again. No amount of fear or self-doubt should make you feel unworthy or incapable, but this is something you consciously have to tell yourself in order to really learn it. YOU GOT THIS!
